We hold a Community Lunch every second Wednesday of the month here at HICSA.
Please contact HICSA for the date and time, or you can join our mailing list and we will send you an invitation. We ask that you please RSVP to the lunch as we need to know numbers for catering.
The Community Lunch is a fantastic opportunity to gather, enjoy each other’s company, to yarn, celebrate Aboriginal culture, and to ‘respect, care and share’.

THE HUB – HICSA’S Knowledge and Resource Hub
In 2015 HICSA opened the Knowledge and Resource Hub where community can come to access the internet from one of our 10 computers located at HICSA, photocopying and printing facilities are also available. The Hub also offers regular workshop, training and information sessions (more information on current sessions and workshops are located below.) So if you need a quiet space to catch up on study, learn new skills or just need a computer to access on line services then the HUB could be for you. There is no bookings required and opening hours are-
10:00am-4:00pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
HICSA is able to support non-incorporated Aboriginal groups to access funding to support their programs. Contact HICSA for a copy of our Auspice Policy or talk to a member of staff. Examples of support offered to the community included auspicing funds to support a local football team, the Evonne Goolagong Sports Foundation and the Elders Association.
